Isn't this amazing???!!!!! And the music!! What comes out of man's mind always amazes me. I don't know who Theo Jansen is but I'm about to do some research.

Theo Jansen is totally my hero! I have an autographed copy of his book somewhere... it's in Dutch though.
I'm not positive about the music, but it sounds a lot like Philip Glass.
That's an excellent little video. It breaks down the whole mechanism and reveals it to be very simple. You could imagine some future genius constructing something similar with his erector set.
I saw this and met this Man in London, back in June of this year. Really awesome stuff, it's so difficult to be original these days. He really has a raw and inspiring vision, it's a whole different experience up close.
